Interco Tire Corporation Receiving & Inspection Policy

To ensure accurate and timely resolution of any delivery concerns, customers are required to adhere to the following receiving and inspection guidelines:

1. Mandatory Inspection Period – 48 Hours

Upon delivery, the customer must inspect all tires within 48 hours. This inspection should confirm:

  • Correct size, model, and quantity

  • Any visible shipping or handling damage

  • Any discrepancies between the order and the delivered product

2. Reporting Requirements

  • Any shipping-related issue must be reported to Interco in writing within 48 hours of the carrier’s recorded delivery time.
  • Claims submitted after this period will be considered untimely and will not qualify for freight claims, returns, or replacements.

3. Post-Inspection Window Limitations

  • After the 48-hour inspection window has expired, no returns or exchanges will be accepted for shipping, handling, or delivery issues.
  • Only issues determined to be a legitimate warranty concern under Interco’s standard warranty policy will be reviewed beyond this timeframe.

4. Condition of Goods for Claims

For any claim to be eligible:

  • Tires must remain unmounted and unused, and
  • Must be presented in the condition received at delivery.

5. Warranty Exceptions & Terms

Manufacturing defects are covered under Interco’s standard warranty policy; however, warranty terms vary by product category:

  • Light Truck Tires (DOT): Covered for 5 years from the date of manufacture against defects in workmanship or materials.
  • ATV/UTV Tires: Covered for 2 years from the date of manufacture against defects in workmanship or materials.
  • Blemished Tires (Blem List): Covered for 1 year from the date of purchase against defects.
  • Competition/Sticky Tires: No manufacturer’s warranty is provided due to the intended high-impact, extreme-use nature of these products.
